Stations & Apparatus
The Melrose Fire Department operates with 2 Engines, a Ladder truck, a Brush truck and also operate the Fire Alarm office. The three stations that house them are strategically positioned around the city. We are also working getting the Rescue/Ambulance back within the year.
UPDATE! With the combination of the union's vote to man the ladder truck with 3 men instead of 4 when we are running 2 Engines, the city agreeing to give the union a 3 week notice of dropping down to 1 engine as well as the hiring of 4 new members, we are back to having all three stations opened
